On each journey, the camera is directed at the area of highest interest for several hours running.  In the end, thousands of images are sorted and the best are selected.  This process produces two distinct sets of images: one that captures the journey, and a second set that are stand-alone images.

Timed Travel captures photo-journeys using a time lapse feature on my Intova SP1. This method of photography captures real-life in a way that I have never been able to do before because even though the camera is live, there is the appearance of just holding the camera.  As the photographer I, or at times those on the journey with me, have a constant awareness of the camera at all times, but not always an awareness of the timing of image capture.
