Inspired by the Mexican culture and beliefs, this set is composed of two sided paintings.  Horizontally, the paintings are fish; vertically, the paintings are the Virgin of Guadalupe.  The mouth of the fish creates the halo of the virgin, while the fins of the fish signify the rays of sunlight seen behind the virgin in the image.  In some of the paintings, the angel that is shown below the Virgin of Guadalupe creates the tail of the fish.
